Description:
 XL6009 Adjustable Step-Up Regulator Module [DC-DC] [4A] is an adjustable DC-DC step-up switching adapter with 4A high current and excellent line and load regulation, which is based on XL6009 4.0 A, Step-Up Switching Regulator chip. The XL6009 chip is a boost converter and an easy solution to build a step-up voltage regulator. This chip has high efficiency (about 94%) and a wide range of 3-32 voltage regulating either direct or reverse polarity. Thus it can be configured in a boost, flyback, SEPIC or inverting manner. This converter chip is a switching mode power supply with the 400KHz switching speed. This ultra-high switching frequency results in reducing the size of filter components and output ripples. Due to the high switching frequency, this module is optimized to work with a very small inductor and capacitor with small ripple.
This regulator is designed to minimize the number of external components to simplify the power supply design. This adapter can be used as a post regulator for DC adaptors and power supplies, solar cells, wind turbines car batteries, battery charger or even an LED current source. This regulator is equipped with a precision multiturn potentiometers to accurately adjust both the output voltage and current.
