LM338K Pot Regulator

a linear regulator, or linear regulator, is a method for supplying a constant voltage. the internal resistance of the regulator changes in proportion to the load resistance, resulting in a stable output voltage. the voltage regulation element is designed to act like a variable resistor, continuously adjusting a voltage divider circuit to provide a constant output voltage and always dissipating the voltage difference between the input and output of the circuit as heat. the lm338k is an adjustable pot regulator with a positive output voltage ranging from 1.2v to 32v and an output current of 5 amps. using a regulator prevents damage caused by voltage fluctuations on circuit elements. the lm338k voltage regulator has two terminals with a to-3 packaging in the form of a pot.
