TA2024 Dual Channel Stereo Digital Audio Amplifier Module is a 15 Watt per channel, high power, class T, digital audio amplifier module, which is based on TA2024 chip, using Tripath's proprietary Digital Power Processing™ technology. By this technology, power amplifier efficiency  of class D while maintaining audio fidelity class AB, is possible, so class-T amplifier has not only comparable Class AB audio amplifier sound quality, but also a class D audio amplifier high efficiency, which results in economical design, a less expensive and a smaller power supply and smaller heatsink. It has a protection circuit which monitors the condition of current, temperature, distortion, and so on, and automatically cut off the power when detecting a fault such as over-current, high distortion (over-load), over-temperature, etc. 
The chip is very flexible for designing that designers can configure input impedance and gain. Because of easy using, convenient handling, no small body heating, it is widely applied in many homes and public appliance such as DVD, PC multimedia, television, multimedia computer, portable audio, home theater, car audio and battery powered systems. Also, it is suitable for DIY projects such as a desktop audio amplifier system, in the finished machine.
