Description:
The SS443A is a temperature compensated digital hall effect sensor IC in 3 pins TO-92 package.
This small, versatile digital hall effect device is operated by a magnetic field from a permanent magnet or an electromagnet.
It is designed to respond to alternating north and south poles or to south pole only. Bandgap regulation provides stable operation over 3.8VDC to 30VDC supply voltage range. The SS443A is capable of continuous 20mA sinking output and maybe cycled as high as 50mA. Its voltage (3.8V) capability allows for use in many low voltage applications. The digital, open collector sinking type output is easily interfaced with a wide variety of electronic circuits.
Hall effect sensors operate as analog transducers and return voltage directly when triggered by a magnetic field. This sensor is generally used in a wide range of transportation, industrial and medical applications like motor assemblies, robotics control, speed and RPM sensing, electric window lifts, and convertible roof positions, among others.
