RS422 to TTL Bidirectional Converter Module

The RS422 interface is used for differential and bidirectional serial data communication. Its main advantage over RS485 is the ability to transmit data over long distances. 4-Pin Module Terminal:

• VCC: +3.3V (module supply)
• TXD: TTL (UART) output of the module, connect to MCU RXD pin
• RXD: TTL (UART) input of the module, connect to MCU TXD pin
• GND: Module ground, must be connected to MCU system ground

5-Pin Module Terminal:

• R+/A: Connect to T+/Y pin of the other RS422 module
• R-/B: Connect to T-/Z pin of the other RS422 module
• T-/Z: Connect to R-/B pin of the other RS422 module
• T+/Y: Connect to R+/A pin of the other RS422 module
• GND: Module ground; can be used as a common return path if conditions allow
