fast data transfer speed without wasting time is one of the important factors in the world of technology. the raspberry pi-5 has two usb 3.0 ports capable of simultaneous data transfer at a speed of 5 gigabits per second, which is another advantage over the model 4 board.
lower energy consumption, reduced power loss, less heat generation, and the capability for active cooling of the board, as well as optimizing heat generation through connecting a cooler to the fan port, are additional positive features of this board compared to the raspberry pi 4.
the raspberry pi-5 is powered through usb and an external battery, requiring a current of 4 amps, which represents an increase compared to the power supply current of the raspberry pi-4.
the model 5 has two display ports and smaller connectors compared to model 4. due to the removal of the 3.5 mm socket present in other boards, this socket has been eliminated in this series. however, a positive aspect of these changes is that, while adding more features and including three additional chips on the board, the size of the board has not changed compared to the previous version.
