PL2303HX USB To Serial TTL Converter Module a small, economical, high performance, 5 pins USB male to TTL converter which is based on PL2303HX USB to serial bridge controller chip. The PL-2303HX (Chip Rev D) or PL-2303HXD chip can make easy connecting an RS-232 full-duplex asynchronous serial device to any USB    host port. The PL2303HX chip has a USB mass transfer mode, large data buffers, and self flows control, which can achieve higher performance (the baud rate more than 115200) than typical UART ports. It has a very flexible baud rate from 75 bps and 12M.  It has a high compatible driver, which enables it to simulate the traditional COM port and communicate perfectly with most operating systems, especially Windows XP / VISTA / 7 / 8 / 8.1. 
The PL2303HX chip is specialized for mobile and small applications, which can easily be embedded into any connectors and portable applications. It has a 500MA auto recovery protection fuse and consumes very little power while operating or suspending mode. So it is a perfect solution for bus-powered operation. It has two LED indicators to show the data transfer status, in real time.
