the pixhawk flight controller provides you with an advanced, versatile, and modular flight control system that can easily meet all your needs. it offers diverse flight modes, including auto hover, auto landing, gimbal control, retractable landing gear, and the use of parachutes, along with flight information available via telemetry. this flight control system supports various types of radios. the pixhawk flight controller typically receives power through its power port. when the pixhawk is powered, this port can measure and read the analog voltage and current through an optional module attached to the flight controller. a significant advantage of the pixhawk is that you can connect various sensors and modules to it. the pixhawk flight controller is compatible with communication protocols for radio control receivers, including ppm, futaba s.bus receivers, spektrum dsm and dsm2 receivers, spektrum dsm-x satellite receivers, and multiplex srxl version 1 and version 2 receivers. for older receivers that use one wire per channel (pwm), the ppm output from the receiver can be converted to ppm-sum. gps ports connect using a 6-pin df13 cable, and the mag (compass) port is connected to the i2c port via a 4-pin df13 cable.
