Description:
PAM8302 Mono Digital Audio Amplifier Module is a tiny 2.5 Watts mono amplifier, which works at class D. The module can be supplied by a 2.0V-5.5VDC power source and produce a powerful amplified sound into a 4Ω or 8Ω impedance speaker. Due to working at class ​​​​​​​D, it has high efficiency (over 90% efficient when driving an 8Ω speaker at over half a Watt). Tiny size besides high efficiency make it applicable in  widely portable and battery powered projects. Adjusting the output volume is done via a volume trim pot from zero to the default 24dB gain. The safety properties of the PAM8302 consist of protection against over-current conditions, and abnormal temperature conditions. But consider that it gets hot, even in normal condition. 
The A+ and A- inputs go through 1.0uF capacitors, so they are fully 'differential', if you don't have differential outputs, simply tie the A- pin to ground. The output is "Bridge Tied" so 2 pins must be directly connected to the speaker pins, no ground anyone. The output is a high frequency 250KHz square wave PWM, so it's not a hearing sound, in the coil of the speaker, this PWM signal is averaged and made audible sound. Therefore, you can't connect the output into another amplifier, it should drive the speakers directly. For conveniently attaching and detaching on the breadboards, a 3.5mm screw terminal block is included.
