NRF24L01 PA LNA Wireless Transceiver Module is a 2.4GHz transceiver, which is based on nRF24L01+ chip. This chip is a highly integrated 2Mbps RF transceiver for the 2.4GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) band. The  plus (+) version of the IC means that has improved range, sensitivity, and data rates than the older version. The module is designed as an economical transceiver just by the nRF24L01+ chip and a few external parts. 
It can be communicated with a microcontroller through the SPI and be configured with the microcontroller. This module integrates a complete RF transceiver, RF synthesizer, a power amplifier, a crystal oscillator, a demodulation, modulator and base band logic, including the Enhanced shockburst™ hardware protocol accelerator supporting a high-speed SPI interface for the application controller. The module is an ultra low power consumption, which results in months to years of battery lifetime, which is suitable for portable applications. This module has a built in power amplifier that extends the distance range up to 1100 meters. It is supplied with voltage from 1.9 to 3.6V, which is compatible with microcontroller and Arduino boards. So the module is very easy to develop.
In this module, a good trade off is done between wireless transition performance and cost. The module has a small external antenna (package included). Therefor with these properties, it can be used widely in digital devices such as mouse, keyboard, wireless headsets, intelligent sports equipment, remote controls, voice applications, security devices, VOIP applications.
