MSYJ-12V 16mm Stainless Steel IP67 Push Button Switch

The MSYJ-12V push button switch is a 16mm metal push button switch designed for industrial control panels, automation systems, marine equipment, and harsh-environment electronic devices. Its housing is machined from 304 stainless steel, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, wear, and mechanical impact—far superior to plastic or aluminium-bodied switches in wet, dusty, or high-vibration installations. The switch is rated IP67 for protection against dust ingress and temporary water immersion, and IK09 for impact resistance, making it suitable for outdoor panels, marine dashboards, and equipment exposed to washdown or heavy handling.

The short-body design (total length approximately 21mm) allows installation in shallow enclosures where a standard-depth switch would protrude or interfere with internal components. The switch is available in momentary (reset) or latching (self-locking) operation, and in illuminated versions with a 12V LED ring in red, yellow, green, blue, or white. The flat round head provides a clean, low-profile appearance, and the 1NO+1NC contact arrangement (or 1NO per some variants) supports both normally-open and normally-closed circuit configurations. Electrical ratings are typically 3A at 250V AC or 5A at 12V DC depending on the variant, with contact resistance ≤50mΩ and insulation resistance >1000MΩ.

The switch uses screw or solder terminals (tail configuration 1.8×0.4mm per some listings) and mounts through a standard 16mm panel cutout with a metal nut and rubber O-ring. It operates over a temperature range of approximately -20°C to +55°C. The MSYJ-12V is a passive electromechanical component—it does not include a relay, controller, or driver circuitry. It is intended for direct panel mounting and wiring to the host circuit, and it is compatible with Arduino, PLC, and industrial control systems when used within its rated voltage and current limits.
