Module Application:
MQ-2 Smoke LPG Butane Gas Sensor Module is a smoke detector board, which is based on MQ-2 sensor. This sensor is a highly sensitive sensor that can detect a small leaking of LPG gas, butane gas, propane gas, methane gas, smoke and so on. Thus, this sensor can widely be used in home and city building automation. This board is high quality and high-performance small dual-panel with a TTL running output capability. Also, it can run analog circuits, because its output signal directly depends on the supplied voltage, means by supplying a higher voltage, the output signal is higher and can drive the analog switch. This sensor has a fast responding with acceptable reliability and stability. In the board is provided four screw holes to easily installing anywhere.
Features:
TTL output valid signal is low level. (When the output is low, the signal light is on, it can be directly connected to the MCU or relay module.)
Good sensitivity to liquefied gas, natural gas, city gas, and smoke.
Input voltage: DC5V
Power consumption current : 150mA
DO output: TTL digital quantity 0 and 1 (0.1 and 5V)
AO output: 0.1-0.3V (relatively non-polluting), the highest concentration voltage is about 4V
