Description:
The LoRa Ra-02 Wireless Transceiver Module is developed by AI-Thinker Technology Inc. which is the manufacturer of the famous ESP32 Series. This Ra-02 LoRa (Long-range Radio) module will lets your electronic projects have the long distance communication over a long-range spread spectrum. The LoRa is a popular wireless technology used as wide area network for IoT. It consists of UART, processor, GPIOs, LoRa protocol stacks, LoRA Radio layer, interface buses (e.g. I2C, SPI) etc. Microcontroller Unit is interfaced using UART with LoRA transceiver to monitor and control applications. GPIOs are used to interface any user defined hardware components such as LEDs, Switches etc. The LoRa RF layer is interfaced with antenna of different frequency bands such as 433 and 868MHz. The LoRa transceiver requires a crystal for running the processor and real time clock pulse. This form of wireless communication results in a larger bandwidth, increasing interference resistance, minimizing current consumption, and increasing security. 
Ra-02 is a wireless transmission module based on SemTech's SX1278 wireless transceiver. The SX1278 RF module is mainly used for long-range spread spectrum communication. This adopts advanced LoRa spread spectrum technology, with a communication distance of 10Km. It has strong ability of anti-jamming and has the function of air wake-up. The module can be covering many people in a wide district area, particularly suitable for meter reading, smart home, security alarm equipments and more. This module can work by minimum current consumption. The SX1278 has a high sensitivity of -148dBm with a power output of +18dBm, a long transmission distance and high reliability. At the same time, compared with the traditional modulation technology, The AI-Thinker modulation technology has obvious advantages in anti-blocking and frequency selection, which solves the problem of traditional design scheme which can not consider the long distance, interference and power consumption at the same time.
