The IC LM1117T is a low dropout linear voltage regulator that provides a fixed output of 3.3 volts. the lm1117t is available in an adjustable version that allows you to change the output voltage from 1.25 to 13.8 volts using only two external resistors. this regulator provides current limiting and thermal shutdown. its circuit also includes a bandgap reference zener to ensure the accuracy of the output voltage within ±1%.
