L7905CV IC Regulator T0-220 Package

The l7905cv ic is a negative three-terminal voltage regulator with a to-220 package and a fixed output voltage of -5 volts. this regulator is primarily designed as a fixed voltage regulator; however, this ic can also be used in a circuit to achieve adjustable voltage and current. the l7905cv requires two additional components, which are 2 capacitors of 2.2uf at 50 volts and 1uf for output regulation. in the case of polarized capacitors, the negative terminal goes to gnd for negative voltage regulators.
