Description: ICM-20948 9 Axis Motion Tracking Module is an ultra-low power consumption board to sense and tracking 9 axis MEMS motion, which is based on ICM-20948, world’s Lowest Power 9axis motion sensor chip. The ICM-20948 chip is known as a multi-chip module (MCM) and consists of 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis compass, with a built-in Digital Motion Processor™ (DMPTM) which can communicate with microcontrollers and Arduino boards with I2C and fast speed SPI at 7 MHz. consisting of two dies integrated into a single QFN package. One die houses a 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis accelerometer, and a Digital Motion Processor™ (DMP). The other die houses the AK09916 3-axis magnetometer from Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation.This module can be interfaced to external sensors, on-chip 16-bit ADC, programmable digital filters, an embedded temperature sensor, and programmable interrupts through an auxiliary I2C interface.It can be used in Smartphones, Tablets, Wearable Sensors, and IoT applications.
