The syn500r is an ask receiver operating at a frequency of 300-450 mhz with a typical sensitivity of -109 dbm. the syn500r functions as a superheterodyne receiver for ook and ask modulation up to 10 kilobits per second. the down-conversion mixer also provides image rejection. all data filters are provided after detection in the syn500r. each of the four filter bandwidths can be externally selected by the user in binary stages, ranging from 1.25 khz to 10 khz. the user only needs to configure the device with a set of easily determined values based on the data rate, modulation format code, and desired duty cycle performance. the syn510r is the sop16 package version.
