The L293D motor driver IC is a four-channel integrated driver designed to support high voltage and current. Using this driver, you can utilize DC motors and power supplies with a maximum voltage of 36 volts in your project. Each channel can provide up to 600 milliamps of current, and the L293D chip is also known as an H-Bridge. Overall, an H-Bridge is a circuit that enables the application of voltage to an output such as a motor. The use of the L293D chip results in very low energy consumption and high power from the driver shield
