Description:
The HC-SR501 is a PIR motion detector with an adjustable range that can sense up to 7m. The sensor uses infrared technology and features high sensitivity, ultra-low voltage mode, high reliability, and is ideal for use in battery-operated equipment.

PIR sensor is specially designed to detect such levels of infrared radiation.
It basically consists of two main parts: A Pyroelectric Sensor and A special lens called Fresnel lens which focuses the infrared signals onto the pyroelectric sensor.

Adjustment:
• Adjust the distance potentiometer clockwise rotation, increased sensing distance (about 7 meters), on the contrary, the sensing distance decreases (about 3 meters).
• Adjust the delay potentiometer clockwise rotation sensor the delay lengthened (300S), on the contrary, shortens the induction delay (5S).
