AMS1117 IC 2.5V Regulator SOT223 Package

Description:

IC AMS1117 is a 3-pin SMD package voltage regulator, which is used in many cases for constant and adjustable voltage. This IC can provide a maximum current of 800 mA and an output voltage of 2.5 V. It also has a low voltage drop of 1.3V when operating at maximum current.

AMS1117 series fixed regulators are easy to use and are protected against short circuit and thermal overload (if the temperature reaches 165 degrees Celsius).

Advantages of these regulators include pin compatibility with older three-terminal adjustable regulators, lower voltage, tighter reference tolerances, and improved temperature stability.
