CSN-A1 58mm Embedded Thermal Panel Printer with RS232/TTL/USB Interface

The CSN-A1 is a compact 58mm embedded thermal panel printer module designed for integration into equipment where space is limited. Utilizing direct thermal line printing technology, this CSN-A1 printer requires no ink or ribbon, producing clear receipt images by heating specially coated thermal paper as it passes over the print head. This makes it an efficient and low-maintenance solution for applications such as POS systems, medical devices, measuring instruments, security equipment, and self-service kiosks.

The printer supports multiple interface options including RS232, TTL serial, and USB, with a default baud rate of 19200bps and a configurable range from 9600bps to 115200bps. It is fully compatible with the ESC/POS command set, ensuring broad compatibility with existing software systems. The print head delivers a resolution of 203dpi (8 dots/mm) across a 48mm effective print width, with a print speed of 50-80mm/s (up to 90mm/s at higher voltage). The CSN-A1 supports character sets including ASCII, GB2312-80 (Chinese), GBK, and BIG5, with multiple font sizes for both ANK and Chinese characters.

With compact dimensions of 76.8mm × 77.4mm × 47.7mm and an embedding depth of just 34.65mm, this panel printer is designed for seamless front-panel installation. The printer operates on a DC power supply of 5V to 9V (with 12V optional) and includes photoelectric paper-end detection and thermistor-based print head temperature monitoring. The mechanism is rated for a print head life of 50km and a mean cycle between failures (MCBF) of 5 million lines, ensuring reliable long-term operation.
