Description:
CH340T USB To TTL Converter Module is a USB to serial port TTL converter which is based on CH340T USB to serial (UART) chip. The CH340 series chip can operate in 3 modes of USB to serial interface converter mode, USB to infrared converter mode and USB to printer interface converter mode. In this module, just the converting the USB to serial interface mode by CH340T is developed, so 2 other modes are left without more description. In USB to serial interface converter mode, CH340 chip can supply a common MODEM correlation signal, for enlarging asynchronous serial interface of a computer or directly upgrade the common serial applications to the USB bus. It can easily interface USB port with microcontroller projects, and support Windows XP,  Windows 7 32-bit, 64-bit, Windows 10 32-bit and 64-bit  operating system. To achieve full speed USB conforms to USB Specification Version 2.0, just be required an external crystal and capacitance. In the USB to serial interface converter, this module can act as a downloader, too. It can be used as a downloader with two microcontroller series, STC and STM32.
 
STC microcontroller download mode:
Just need to connect 3 wires as follows:
TXD terminal of USB downloader connects to single chip microcomputer P3.0 (RX)
RXD end of USB downloader connects to single chip microcomputer P3.1 (TX)
GND end of USB downloader connects to single chip GND
 After above wiring connections, the development board is supplied by a separate power supply. 

STM32 microcontroller download mode:
Just need to connect 3 wires as follows:
TXD terminal of USB downloader connects to single chip microcomputer PA10 (RX1) 
RXD end of USB downloader connects to single chip microcomputer PA9 (TX1) 
GND end of USB downloader connects to single chip GND
 After above wiring connections, the development board is supplied by a separate power supply or the USB downloader. Also, you need to connect boot0 to VCC. After ending download, connect boot0 back to GND and press the reset button to complete the operation.
