Description: CJMCU AK09911C 3-Axis Magnetometer Compass Sensor Module [2.4V-3.6V] is a high sensitivity magnetic sensor that uses hall sensing technology to detect and measure the three geomagnetic axes. This sensor module is designed based on AK09911 3-axis Electronic Compass chip. This chip is comprised of the magnetic hall sensor, a driving circuit, signal amplifier chain, an arithmetic circuit for processing the signal from each sensor, internal oscillator for clock pulse, 14bit ADC for each axis, serial interfaces of I2C bus interface, This chip is optimized and specialized for city navigation of the cell phone and other portable appliance. This sensor is equipped with an internal magnetic source in order to test itself. This sensor module can operate at 4 operating modes of the power cut-off, single measurement, continuous measurement, self-test and fuse ROM access. While measuring it can detect and measure with 3 different speed of a standard, fast, and high-speed mode (2.5 MHz). This module can be supplied with 2.4V to 3.6V DC to measure both the direction and the magnitude of Earth’s magnetic fields from ±1.3 up to ±8 Gauss with ±5 milligauss accuracy that can achieve 1 to 2-degree accuracy in navigation. This compass module can communicate with microcontroller and Arduino boards trough the I2C communication protocol.
