ULN2803A Motor Driver IC SOP18 Package

the uln2803a ic is a 50-volt, 500-milliamp darlington transistor array, and this ic consists of eight pairs of npn darlingtons with high voltage outputs featuring common cathode clamp diodes for switching inductive loads. the collector current rating of each darlington pair is 500 milliamps, and the darlington pairs can be connected in parallel for higher current capability. the uln2803a device has a 2.7 kω series base resistor for each darlington pair to work directly with ttl or 5-v cmos devices.
