YF-B7 Water Flow Sensor 1-25L/min 5-15V Copper Hall Effect with Temperature Sensor

The YF-B7 water flow sensor is a compact, copper-bodied flow meter that combines a water rotor, a hall-effect sensing element, and an integrated temperature sensor in a single G1/2 inch fitting. As water passes through the rotor, its rotational speed changes with the flow rate, and the hall-effect element converts this motion into a pulsed electrical signal whose frequency is proportional to the flow. The output follows the relationship F = 11 × Q, where Q is the flow rate in liters per minute, giving 11 pulses per second for each liter per minute of flow. The sensor measures flow rates from 1 to 25 L/min with a repeatability of ±3 percent and operates from a 5V to 15V DC supply, drawing a maximum working current of 15mA at 5V. Its maximum load capacity is ≤10mA, insulation resistance exceeds 100MΩ, and the body withstands pressure up to 1.75MPa. The liquid temperature can reach up to 120°C, while the ambient operating temperature is ≤80°C and operating humidity spans 35% to 90% RH. The 1/2-inch standard thread allows straightforward installation in household and industrial piping, and the copper body provides greater durability than plastic alternatives. The module interfaces easily with microcontrollers such as Arduino and ESP32 for flow monitoring and temperature logging.
