PCT-214 Wire Connector

PCT-214 lever spring connectors are an innovative type of electrical connector that use a spring-loaded lever mechanism for quick and easy wire connections. These connectors allow you to join wires without twisting multiple conductors together or using electrical tape. Traditional twisted connections can be mechanically weak and may create localized resistance at the joint. When high current flows through poorly made joints, the taped area can heat up, become damaged, or even pose a fire risk. Lever-type push terminals provide a much safer and more reliable connection method.

One of the key advantages of push-type terminals is their screwless design, meaning two or more electrical wires can be connected without tightening screws. This makes installation faster, cleaner, and much easier—especially for beginners and technicians working in tight spaces. The connector operates with a simple press lever, which is also why this type is commonly known as a push or lever terminal.

Thanks to their push-in design, these connectors allow you to connect wires quickly and securely. Simply strip about 11–12 mm of insulation from the wire, insert it into the connector, and lock it in place using the lever. The result is a strong, low-resistance, and reliable electrical connection in seconds.
