Description:
The 57HS22 is a 2-phase NEMA 23 hybrid stepper motor with holding torque of 2.2Nm (312.00 oz-in). Built with the best available materials and advanced manufacturing technologies. This stepper motor ensures high precision, high torque density, low resonance, quiet motion, low motor heating and smooth movement.
The TB6600 Stepper Motor Driver is a user-friendly, professional stepper motor driver, which could control a two-phase stepping motor. It is compatible with Arduino and other microcontrollers with 5V digital pulse signal output. The TB6600 stepper motor driver has a wide range power input 9~42VDC. It can produce 4A output peak current, which is enough for the most stepper motors. This stepper driver supports speed and direction control. It provides 8 kinds of current control from 0.5A to 3.5A and 7 kinds of micro steps.
Without stepper motors, 3D printers as we know them would not exist. Stepper motors are an important part of 3D printers. They are used in a variety of applications depending on the type of printer. For example, stepper motors are used to move the extruder or the build platform along the x,y, and z axis. The extruder assembly also has a stepper motor used to pull the filament into the extruder.
Stepper motors are unique in that they can move to a known interval and then hold that position. Because they are a good motor to move an object to a repeatable position, they are often used in robotics and in printers.Stepper motors come in a variety of sizes. The most popular sizes used in 3D printers are NEMA 14, NEMA 17 and NEMA 23 and NEMA 24. NEMA is a measurement standardized by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and refers to the frame size of the motor. Just because a motor has a larger frame doesn’t mean it has more torque.
When it comes to powering a CNC machine, the heart and soul of the machine relies in the motor. The CNC routers speed, accuracy, and precision all rely on the size and type of the motor. The two primary motor classes that are used with CNC machines are stepper motors and servo motors.
