Si5351 I2C Clock Generator Module

The Si5351 is an adjustable clock generator with an I²C interface, widely used as a cost-effective replacement for crystals, crystal oscillators, VCXOs, phase-locked loops (PLLs), and fanout buffers. It is built on a high-resolution MultiSynth fractional divider architecture combined with PLLs and VCXOs, allowing it to generate any frequency up to 200 MHz with 0 ppm accuracy on each of its outputs.

Si5351 is available in three versions to meet different market needs:

• Si5351A: This model uses an internal oscillator and can generate up to 8 free-running clocks, serving as a replacement for crystals and crystal oscillators.

• Si5351B: Includes an internal VCXO, offering greater flexibility for generating free-running and synchronized clocks. It eliminates the need for custom tunable crystals and higher costs while providing reliable performance over a wide adjustment range.

• Si5351C: Similar to the Si5351B but can synchronize with an external reference clock (CLKIN), offering the same flexibility.
