The MG995 metal gear servo motor is a standard-size, high-torque actuator built for robotic arms, humanoid robots, RC aircraft, and quadcopter applications that demand substantial holding force. This 180-degree servo rotates approximately 90 degrees in each direction and delivers a stall torque of 9.4 kg/cm at 4.8V, rising to 13 kg/cm at 6V, making it suitable for lever, axis, and gripper control. Operating on a 4.8V to 7.2V supply, the MG995 uses pulse-width modulation to set shaft angle, with an operating speed of 0.17 sec/60° at 4.8V and 0.14 sec/60° at 6V.
