JGA25-370 Geared DC Motor

As the name suggests, the JGA25-370 Geared DC Motor is essentially a combination of a gearbox and a brush DC motor.

When more power or torque is required from a DC Motor operating at 12V, adding a gearbox makes this easily achievable. The gearbox converts between speed and torque, either reducing speed to increase torque or increasing speed while reducing torque. Common types of gears used in a Geared Motor include spur, helical, bevel, hypoid, and worm gears. These geared motors are more compact in size and provide high torque density. The shaft arrangement is generally inline, eliminating any issues related to shaft offset.

A single-shaft geared motor is equipped with one shaft and is widely used in robotics and toy manufacturing. The JGA25-370 Geared DC Motor operates at 12V with a current consumption of 0.3A, and its performance varies depending on the voltage level.
