3D Printer 1.75mm Filament Material Detection Module

The filament material detection module or filament end detection sensor is a component responsible for monitoring the presence of filament and controlling the operation of a 3d printer. this component essentially consists of a mechanical microswitch along with a board and housing, which is added to the motherboard or controller of the 3d printer via a wire. its functioning is such that as filament passes through it, the lever of the microswitch is pressed, completing the circuit. as soon as the filament runs out, the lever is released, and the circuit is broken. with the interruption of the current, the command to change the filament is executed by the motherboard, and the printing process stops until the filament is replaced. after the filament replacement, the circuit is reconnected, and the device waits for the user's command to resume printing.
