ESP32 WROOM-32D development board with built-in Wi-Fi bluetooth and CH9102X chip

ESP32 is a single chip 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combo chip designed with TSMC low-power 40 nm technology. It is designed and optimized for the best power performance, RF performance, robustness, versatility, features, and reliability, for a wide variety of applications, and different power profiles.

ESP32 uses CMOS for single-chip fully-integrated radio and baseband and also integrates advanced calibration circuitries that allow the solution to dynamically adjust itself to remove external circuit imperfections or adjust to changes in external conditions. It is a dual-core system with two Harvard Architecture Xtensa LX6 CPUs. All embedded memory, external memory, and peripherals are located on the data bus and/or the instruction bus of these CPUs.

With some minor exceptions, the address mapping of two CPUs is symmetric, meaning they use the same addresses to access the same memory. Multiple peripherals in the system can access embedded memory via DMA.

CH9102X is a USB bus converter chip, which converts USB to serial port. It provides standard MODEM signal, to expand serial port for computer or upgrade directly from normal serial device or MCU to USB bus1. It is compatible with USB 2.0 and supports baud rates from 300bps to 2Mbps1.
