100 PCS IC Socket for Dip Chips [8p, 14P, 16P, 18P, 20P, 24P, 28P, 32P, 40P] package contains 100 pieces of IC sockets which are soldered on the PCB or mounted on a breadboard to be pushed IC feet in it for a robust removable electrical connection. In facts, An IC socket, also known as a chip socket, or a DIP IC socket is an electrical connector that provides a removable connection for the integrated chip. This socket is suitable for DIP chip adopted with XH2.54 standard (Breadboard type). The insulation part of this socket is made of PPS(UL94V-0) black material that has a high electrical resistance more than 1000 megaohm at 500V and can tolerate 1000V AC for 1 minute. The contact part of the socket is made of phosphor bronze or brass tin plated that can tolerate up to 5A current.
These IC sockets are presented in optional number pin of  8pin, 14pin, 16pin, 18pin, 20pin, 24pin, 28pin, 32pin, and 40pin with different size and price that 24pin and more has two widths of narrow or wide.
