The Arduino NANO 33 BLE board is designed to provide an affordable and cost-effective solution for builders looking to incorporate Bluetooth low energy connectivity into their projects. This module is based on a NINA B306 module that hosts a Nordic nRF52480 that contains a Cortex M4F microcontroller. The NANO 33 BLE also features an LSM9DS1 9-axis IMU.
The Arduino NANO 33 BLE is programmed using Arduino software (IDE), our integrated development environment that is common to all our boards and runs online and offline.
If you want to program your Arduino NANO 33 BLE offline, you need to install the Arduino Desktop IDE and add the Arduino nRF528x mbed Core to it.
The Arduino Nano 33 BLE is an evolution of the traditional Arduino Nano, but with a much more powerful processor, the nRF52840 from Nordic Semiconductors, a 32-bit ARM® Cortex™-M4 CPU running at 64 MHz. This allows you to build larger programs than the Arduino Uno (with 1 MB of program memory, 32 times larger) and with many more variables (128 times larger RAM). The main processor has other amazing features such as Bluetooth® pairing via NFC and ultra-low power consumption modes.
