Description:
This ACS712 current module is based on ACS712 sensor, which can accurately detect AC or DC current. The maximum AC or DC that can be detected can reach 30A, and the present current signal can be read via analog I/O port of Arduino. 
The ACS712 is a fully integrated, hall effect-based linear current sensor with 2.1kVRMS voltage isolation and a integrated low-resistance current conductor. Technical terms aside, it’s simply put forth as a current sensor that uses its conductor to calculate and measure the amount of current applied.
ACS712 Current sensor module work simplify: Current flows through the onboard hall sensor circuit in its IC. The hall effect sensor detects the incoming current through its magnetic field generation. Once detected, the hall effect sensor generates a voltage proportional to its magnetic field that’s then used to measure the amount of current.
