The 60KTYZ synchronous motor, single-phase, 220V, 14W, is manufactured with various speeds and features three wires and a capacitor, sharing a common neutral lead for both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. The motor body consists of two parts: a 14W asynchronous motor in the middle section and a gear set on top that reduces speed.

The 60KTYZ synchronous motor is an AC synchronous motor with a permanent magnet rotor and built-in gearbox. Among synchronous motors, permanent magnet types offer the highest efficiency, power factor, and smallest size relative to output power.

An external capacitor connected to the motor terminals creates a phase shift in the windings, ensuring the rotation direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) remains fixed regardless of power cycling. Without the capacitor, even slight mechanical force during operation can reverse the motor’s rotation direction.
