Laser Diode 450nm 5W

The mechanism of operation of laser diodes is similar to that of LEDs. In order to produce light with greater power, changes in the semiconductor junction are necessary. Instead of silicon semiconductor, an alloy combination of aluminum, gallium arsenide, indium gallium arsenide phosphide is used. By applying electric current to the diode and establishing electron movement towards the holes, additional energy photons are generated. Laser diodes that utilize stack technology can produce waves of different lengths by stacking multiple semiconductors on top of each other.
