The CO1356Mhz is a circular RFID coin tag designed for wireless identification in access control, attendance, inventory, and asset-tracking applications. The tag operates at 13.56MHz and is built around the TK4100 chip, which provides 8Kbit of storage capacity organized into 16 partitions. Each partition can be protected by two independent passwords, allowing system integrators to separate data zones and apply different access rights for different users or applications. The tag supports more than 100,000 write and rewrite cycles, and stored data is rated to be retained for up to 10 years.
The tag is encapsulated in a PVC disc measuring 25mm in diameter, giving it a compact, coin-like form factor that can be attached to badges, tokens, tools, containers, and product packaging. As a passive device, it draws its operating power from the reader’s electromagnetic field and requires no battery or maintenance. The read and write range is specified at 2.5cm to 15cm, depending on the output power of the reader and the surrounding environment. The tag is compatible with a broad range of RFID readers that support the 13.56MHz frequency and the TK4100 chip family.
Typical applications include access control systems, time and attendance terminals, warehouse and inventory management, product identification, electronic ticketing, library systems, smart-home devices, and retail gates. The tag is supplied as a pack of five units, making it convenient for small installations, replacement of damaged tags, or testing and development work.
