Description:
In a DC motor, an armature rotates inside a magnetic field. The basic working principle of DC motor is based on the fact that whenever a current-carries conductor is placed inside a magnetic field, there will be mechanical force experienced by that conductor.
Permanent magnet machines are widely used in many applications. The structure of these machines is simple, and it is of low cost. Due to the advance in the power electronic drives and circuits, the control of a PMDC motor is very easier.
Ball bearings are used on the front and rear of the motor, and the machine is equipped with an overheat protection switch. When the temperature of the motor reaches 80 degrees, the power is automatically turned off, so that the motor will not burn out due to overload and overheat.
