The SZ-BT07CCCV-D1 is a high-power, non-isolated DC-DC boost (step-up) converter module designed for applications that require a regulated output voltage higher than the input source. It accepts a DC input of 10V to 60V and delivers a continuously adjustable output from 12V to 90V, with a maximum output current of 20A and a constant-current (CC) adjustment range of 0.8A to 20A. The module is built for high-current loads: the input stage tolerates up to 30A when the input voltage is between 10V and 30V, and up to 25A when the input is between 31V and 60V.
A critical specification to understand is that the “1500W” rating is a maximum nominal figure, not a guaranteed continuous output at every input voltage. The actual output power is governed by the input voltage multiplied by the input current limit. For example, with a 12V input and the full 30A input current, the maximum output power is approximately 360W; at 24V input it rises to about 720W; and at 36V input (where the input current limit is 25A) it reaches about 900W. The full 1500W class is only approached at higher input voltages within the 10–60V window, where the input power (voltage × current) supports it. This behavior is inherent to boost topology and should be considered when sizing the input source.
The 1500W boost constant current module provides both constant-voltage (CV) and constant-current (CC) regulation. Output voltage is adjusted via the V-ADJ potentiometer on the output side, and output current limiting is set independently, making the module suitable for battery charging and LED driving. A smart temperature-controlled 50mm fan activates automatically when the internal temperature rises and stops when it falls, reducing noise and dust intake under light loads. Protection features include input reverse-polarity protection via a MOSFET, output short-circuit protection, and a battery charging protection circuit that disconnects the output when the battery is fully charged to prevent overcharge damage. The module measures approximately 130 × 50 × 74 mm (or 130 × 50 × 85 mm including the fan and copper posts, depending on measurement convention) and weighs about 360g. It is a non-isolated converter, so the input and output share a common ground, and it is not suitable for applications requiring galvanic isolation.
