12mm Laser Diode Heatsink – Aluminum Cooling Holder with Fins, 45×21×26mm

The 12mm Laser module cooling holder is an aluminum cooling holder designed to dissipate heat from 12mm-diameter laser diode modules. Laser diodes are sensitive to temperature: as junction temperature rises, output power drops, wavelength shifts, and long-term reliability degrades. This heatsink addresses that problem by providing a large, finned aluminum surface that conducts heat away from the module body and transfers it to the surrounding air. The finned profile substantially increases the exposed surface area compared with a plain cylindrical holder, which improves passive cooling even without a fan.

The holder accepts a 12mm laser module in a machined bore and secures it with two clamping screws, so the module can be tightened firmly without crushing the diode can. The overall dimensions are 45mm in length, 21mm in width, and 26mm in height, with a black anodized finish that provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface. The base includes an M6 threaded hole for mounting the heatsink to optical tables, CNC carriages, or custom brackets, and the body also provides additional mounting holes for flexible installation.
