5 PCS 3D Printer Optical Endstop Light Limit Switch Module For RepRap RAMPS 1.4 package contains 5 pieces of a limit switch, which is used to detect the end of head print motion for preventing touch the heat bed. Endstops switch or limit switches are applied on each moving axis of a 3D printer or CNC machines. The end-stop switch provides a reference system for the axis system and safety for 3D printers and CNC machines. After powering on the 3D printer and CNC machine, the controller unite don't know that its axis is at which position. The end-stop switches can detect the offset point for the controller unit. Also, the end-stop switch is a limiter, that can eliminate the out of limit motion to protect the system from physical damage due to incidence.
This module is a light limiter switch and acts based on light emission, named optical switch too, that is reliable and easy to install. This optical switch is specialized for the 3D Printer RepRap RAMPS 1.4, but it can be utilized for any type of 3D printer, CNC machine, and any 3D tools.
