Description:
The HT1621 is a 6 bit (digit) 7-segment display module. This module is compatible with your favorite microcontrollers by using 3 wire SPI communication, which is widely used in multi-meter, voltage monitor, solar power monitor, clock, thermometer, electronic measuring devices, automotive, etc. By using LED backlight is suitable in dark environment. This module runs on 4.7~5.2V DC, 0.4mA without back-light (power saving mode) and 4mA with back-light. It's a very compatible module which can be directly connected to Arduino board, 8051 and AVR boarda. This module is featured with a simple interface and is easy to drive (two power supply 5v, three data lines, one backlight control pin). It does not require power saving (no need for backlight, only a few hundred to several tens of uA).The module has only three I/O port to control display and it can be changed the number or simple characters at any time. HT1621 could be refreshed by applying a dedicated driver, without the need to refresh the software in the microcontroller program, so you only need to refresh the display content. This releases the CPU resources to do other operations.
