KV1000 A2212 Brushless Motor

Brushless motors are in fact synchronous electric motors that are set in motion with the help of electrical energy. In a brushless motor, the motor core is stationary and the shell rotates. Therefore, brushless motors do not need brushes and have much greater efficiency and lifespan.

In a KV1000 A2212 brushless motor, there are magnets that receive their power from direct electric current and cause the rotor to rotate inside the stator. On the other hand, instead of using brushes and a commutator, a brushless motor uses a step-by-step motor controller. This controller creates a rotation as a result of which electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy. A brushless motor driver generally consists of two parts: a power section and a processor section. Brushless motors are more efficient than brushless motors in converting electricity into mechanical power. This improvement is largely due to the motor speed being defined by the frequency at which it is switched, not the voltage. The greater efficiency is due to the absence of brushes and the resulting reduction in friction losses.

Many tasks can in principle be performed by brushless DC motors. However, their price and complex control prevent brushed motors from being replaced by brushless motors.
