motors are built in various sizes and require a driver to start. the tmc2160-57 stepper motor driver is based on the tmc2160 chip and has a maximum startup current of 4.33 amperes, with low heat generation. the motor steps can be selected using a small switch, and it supports a maximum of 64 microsteps.
the dimensions of this module are 56 by 56 millimeters, and it operates in two modes: spreadcycle and stealthchop. by changing the status of pin m5, the driver module mode changes. according to the logical table on the back of the board, the irun and microstep parameters can be determined and modified.
