Description:
Omnidirectional microphones are microphones that pick up sound with equal gain from all sides or directions of the microphone. This means that whether a user speaks into the microphone from the front, back, left or right side, the microphone will record the signals all with equal gain. This is in contrast to unidirectional microphones, which pick up sound with high sensitivity only from a specific side. 
The INMP441 is a high performance, low power, digital output, omnidirectional MEMS microphone with a bottom port. The INMP441 consists of a MEMS sensor, signal conditioning, analog to digital converter, anti-aliasing filter, power management and industry-standard 24-bit I2S interface. The I2S interface allows this module to directly connect to digital processors such as DSPs and microcontrollers without an audio codec. The INMP441 has a high signal to noise ratio. It is an excellent choice for near-field applications. The INMP441 featured a flat wideband frequency response that final results are a high definition of natural sound.

SD: Serial data output of the I2S interface
VCC: Input voltage, 1.8V to 3.3V
