Voltage reducer IC 5.0-XL1509

the xl1509 ic is a dc voltage step-down converter with a fixed operating frequency of 150 khz and the capability of delivering 2 a output current with high efficiency, low ripple, and line and load regulation. this ic is available in various versions, and the serial number changes according to the output voltage level; for example, the 5-xl1509 has a fixed output of 5 volts, while versions with 3.3 volts, 12 volts, and adjustable output are also available. the pwm output of this module can be varied from 0 to 100 percent and features a current protection circuit, which causes the frequency to drop from 150 khz to 50 khz when the current limiting function is activated, without the need for external compensating elements.
