Description:
IC AMS1117 is a fixed type positive voltage regulator with maximum input voltage tolerance of 15V and 800mA current supply and protection against Over Current, Over Temperature, SMD type and SOT-223 package.
This linear regulator has an output of 1.8 volts.
Note: AMS1117 regulator, which has many fans among electronic circuit designers, especially microcontroller circuits, due to its good specifications and reasonable price. This regulator has an important feature called "minimum permissible load current". If this value is not observed in the design and calculations, it will cause instability of the output or an abnormal increase in their output voltage.
