The Pi does not include a hardware analog-to-digital converter, but an external ADC (such as the STM32F030) can be used, along with some SPI code in Python to read external analog devices. ADC is a common accessory for Raspberry Pi, Nowadays many cheap MCUs have built-in ADC, so we make this 8-channel ADC based on STM32F030, which is a cost-effective, low-power ARM Cortex M0 MCU. We breakouts 8 channels ADC from the MCU, and integrated 4 analog Grove connector so that you can also use analog Grove modules with it.
